Energy Healing for Emotional Wounds and Difficult Life Experiences

Distant Reiki support for emotional wellbeing after painful or difficult experiences

Difficult experiences do not always stop affecting us when the experience itself is over. A painful relationship, emotional abuse, betrayal, grief, loss, prolonged stress or another deeply distressing period may continue to leave someone feeling unsettled, depleted or disconnected from themselves.

At Vajrakaya Healings, this work forms part of Vani’s 24-session distant Reiki healing programme. It offers complementary spiritual and energetic support for people who feel that a past or present experience continues to affect their emotional or energetic wellbeing.

The work is not psychotherapy or trauma treatment, and it does not require the client to repeatedly revisit or recount what happened. It begins with the person, what they are carrying and what they feel ready to work with.

What Is Energy Healing for Emotional Wounds?

Within energy-healing traditions, emotional, mental, spiritual and energetic experiences are understood as interconnected aspects of a person’s overall sense of balance and wellbeing.

Someone may therefore seek energy healing when a difficult experience continues to feel emotionally or energetically significant long after the event itself, or while they are still moving through a challenging period.

The purpose is not to erase memories, suppress emotions or promise that a painful experience will disappear. The intention is to support greater energetic balance, self-awareness and reconnection with oneself as healing unfolds at the individual’s own pace.

Vani’s Approach to Emotional Healing

Vani’s approach is individual rather than formulaic. Two people may have lived through apparently similar circumstances and yet carry very different emotions, beliefs, patterns and energetic responses.

Reiki forms the foundation of the work. Where appropriate, Vani may also incorporate Lama Fera or other energy-healing practices within her training. Her clair abilities may bring additional insights into patterns that emerge during the healing process.

She may also share meditations, observations, guidance or practical suggestions where these are relevant to the individual.

The intention is never to create dependence upon Vani or upon energy healing. Free will, personal responsibility, self-awareness, boundaries and personal sovereignty remain central to the work.

Who May Find This Service Relevant?

This work may be relevant for someone experiencing the emotional or energetic effects of:

  • a painful or difficult relationship
  • emotional or psychological abuse
  • betrayal, abandonment or rejection
  • grief, bereavement or significant loss
  • separation or divorce
  • family conflict or difficult family dynamics
  • prolonged emotional stress or an emotionally overwhelming period
  • a major life change that has been difficult to process
  • recurring emotional patterns connected with past experiences
  • feeling emotionally or energetically depleted or disconnected from themselves

A person does not need to identify the cause in energetic terms before beginning, and they do not need to disclose every detail of what happened.

What Happens During the Healing Programme?

The work is offered through Vani’s 24-session distant Reiki healing programme.

Before beginning, Vani understands enough about the client’s circumstances to know what they are seeking support with. The client remains in control of how much personal detail they wish to share.

The client does not need to remain online, be awake or interrupt their normal routine while Reiki is being given. As the healing progresses, different emotional or energetic layers may emerge and the focus can develop accordingly.

Vani remains in communication with the client throughout the programme and may share relevant insights, guidance, meditations or practical suggestions.

Can Energy Healing Help After Abuse or Trauma?

Some people seek complementary energy healing after abuse, trauma or other deeply distressing experiences because they feel that the effects of what happened extend beyond the event itself.

Vani approaches such work gently and does not require the person to repeatedly revisit or describe painful experiences. The work addresses the person’s experience from a spiritual and energetic perspective.

Energy healing is not psychotherapy, trauma therapy or a substitute for medical or mental-health care. Vani does not diagnose or treat PTSD, trauma disorders or other mental-health conditions. Where professional support is needed, energy healing can only sit alongside it as a complementary practice.

Do I Have to Talk About What Happened?

No. Some people want to speak about what they have experienced. Others prefer to share only enough information for Vani to understand why they are seeking support.

There is no requirement to recount painful experiences in detail. Choosing what to disclose, when to disclose it and whether to discuss it at all remains with the individual.

Privacy and Confidentiality

People often seek this work during extremely private periods of their lives. Information shared with Vani is treated with sensitivity, privacy and confidentiality.

The person’s boundaries, choices and autonomy are respected throughout.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Some people choose energy healing while also working with a psychologist, counsellor, psychiatrist, doctor or another appropriately qualified professional. The two are not presented as substitutes for one another. Where a person is experiencing significant psychological distress, a mental-health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, immediate danger or ongoing abuse, appropriate professional or emergency support should be sought.

No. The purpose is not to erase memories or suppress emotions. The work focuses on supporting emotional and energetic balance and the person’s relationship with what they have experienced.

It may be relevant for someone seeking complementary energetic support while moving through grief or loss. Grief is individual and has no fixed energetic timeline. Where additional psychological or bereavement support is needed, appropriate professional help should also be sought.

Not necessarily. Relationship Healing focuses specifically on patterns and energies connected with relationships. This page is broader and may involve abuse, grief, betrayal, loss, prolonged stress or another difficult life experience. Where the concern is primarily relational, Relationship Healing may be the more direct starting point.

Because the Reiki work is conducted distantly, a client does not need to live near Vani. Sessions can be received from anywhere in India or internationally.

No. Reiki and energy healing are complementary spiritual practices and should not replace appropriate medical, psychological, psychiatric or other professional care.
